The Fort Lauderdale Collection

The world famous Fort Lauderdale boat show kicked off to a great start on Thursday, October 28th. Among a lavish array of 100+ ft yachts, million dollar two-seater submarines, and helipad’s fully equipped with personal helicopters, there was also an exquisite selection of sophisticated vehicles courtesy of Collection, a pre-owned luxury car dealership in Fort Lauderdale.

The sun beaming down on the luxurious beauties made every prospective buyer salivate.  The vehicles were that fabulous.  On display were a variety of pre-owned cars which included Lotus, Ferrari and Lamborghini.  These were just a small fraction of the company’s large selection which also includes Bentley, Audi, Mustang, Porsche, Hummer, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, as well as, Mclaren.   As these remarkable automobiles were transported to the show, Collection and other impressive auto dealerships use auto transporting companies to deliver their coveted products to a world-wide clientele.

One perspective buyer sat inside an Orange Lotus as he eagerly sought out the perfect addition to his own collection of cars.  The staff was extremely inviting, and allowed him to rev up the engine to get a feel for it.

Collection has been in the Luxurious Auto industry since 1989.  They first began as a small company in Sunrise called The Auto Toy Store and later reopened in Pompano under the name Collection.  The company has been in Pompano for nearly eight years and it specializes in pre-owned luxury vehicles.

Due to the fact that the Fort Lauderdale Boat show is close to Collection’s dealership location, it made perfect sense to display an outstanding assortment of vehicles at one of the most important events to yacht owners this year.  Yacht owners pride themselves on their impeccable taste and awe inspiring collection of “toys”.  Hence, the Fort Lauderdale Boat show is the perfect place to showcase the coolest new cars available. “We show at the Fort Lauderdale boat show to increase sales and our show room is right around the corner”, Lauranda Goldstrom, wife of the owner, told us Saturday.

Collection’s future goals are smart and well thought out for today’s economy.  “Our plans for the future are to maintain and develop a stronger client base.  We aren’t planning to expand much at the time being”, Lauranda told us.  Collection caters to a wide range of clients, including the well-known Sean Kingston.

Filled with awe-inspiring beauties around every corner, the Fort Lauderdale Boat show was a welcoming and enchanting event for everyone.   From the local family of four looking for a fun Saturday event, to the luxury yacht owner looking for a new vehicle, to the world-acclaimed yacht builders looking to showcase their newest creations, everyone enjoyed the event in our friendly Fort Lauderdale waters.
